What is SOFA Con?
SOFA Con is an online event showcasing new, original work for sale from fan-favorite artists from all over the world.
When is it?
May 18th to 19th, 2019. Over the course of the weekend, each artist will reveal brand-new, SOFA-Con exclusive artwork.
Where does it take place?
SOFA Con is wherever you want it to be. All you need is an Internet connection.
To keep things simple for both SOFA Con artists and their supporters, all the artwork for sale during SC will go up in the artists’ own shops. Make sure to keep up with your favorite artists for sneak peeks of what they’ll have available for release at SC!
Do I need a ticket?
Nope, it’s free.
When will my favorite artist’s work be available?
Each artist’s sale will go live at a scheduled time, allowing enough time in between sales for SOFA Con patrons to discover new artists, catch up on the latest releases from old favorites, and make some purchases before moving on to the next shop in that day’s lineup. As SC approaches, we’ll release a schedule breaking down when each artist’s sale goes live. And of course, you can always join the chat for the most up-to-date information about SOFA Con.
Can I buy stuff directly from SOFA Con?
All of the artwork for sale will be available from the artist’s own shops. Each artist’s store has its own purchase and shipping policies, so please be sure to familiarize yourself with the rules before making your purchases over the weekend.
Why an online convention? Don’t these events usually take place IRL?
In the end, SOFA Con is meant to bring together artists with the people who support them, so we can all indulge in a weekend-long celebration of art—all from the comfort of our own homes. No plane flights, long road trips, packed convention floors, or other...unmentionables. Just artists, their work, and you.
